About Impact Academy
While Impact Academy was a program established in 2012, Sand Castle Educational Services, LLC, has been in business in Canton since 2005. As of 2022, our main site is in Canton to serve the needs of the school districts in those counties (and beyond); however, we are looking to expand our services southward to meet the growing needs in communities down there.
Our administrators and employees have served at various Ohio special education and mental health agencies for several years, bringing together a treasure trove of professional education & experience, as well as unique stories, with students suffering from mild-to-severe behavioral & emotional difficulties that obstruct their paths to academic success.
Impact Academy personnel have helped to establish, served administratively, and worked in similar programs in Cuyahoga, Summit, Stark, Tuscarawas, Carroll, and Wayne Counties, creating and implementing innovative & specialized psychoeducational services. We have brought our winning philosophies of education, mental health, and behavior management together to form a place where students can not only overcome their academic struggles, but also transform into healthy, productive contributors--in school, at home, and in their communities-at-large. Sure, the initial goal for placement into our program is academic improvement; but, for us, the ultimate goal is overall, lasting life change.
